Located in close to of vacation home, on the Gulf of Mexico in Tarpon Springs, Howard Park was created in 1964 after the land was donated to Tarpon Springs. There is a 1 mile long causway that sticks out into the Gulf of Mexico's crystal clear waters, connecting the swimming area with the beautiful shaded picnic areas on the mainland. Since it opening on St. Patrick's day in 1966, popularity has increased to over 2 million visitors annually. |
