The inside of our home is very nice. The pictures below give you an idea of the interior. In the bedrooms, all the beds are new and firm for a good nights sleep. In the kitchen are all the modern appliances, including microwave, and garbage disposal.

This lovely 4 bedroom 2 bath Florida vacation rental home with private dock is located in an upper class residential neighborhood. It is within 2 miles of shopping centers and private beaches. It is not in the tourist area commonly associated with crowds. There is no automobile traffic because the house is on a short street that ends in a cul de sac. This is a NO SMOKING HOUSE.

There are several very nice secluded public and private beaches just minutes from the house. These are not the tourist beaches, they are beaches that local Floridians who are "in the know" use.... They have shaded picnic facilities, and trees to set up your chairs under, or plenty of sandy sunshine if you prefer.. You can bicycle to the private beach on the two provided bicycles!

If you are interested in Clearwater, with its tourists beaches, it is about 30 minutes south of this house. These tourist beaches are guaranteed to be crowded with lots of folks milling about. This is very appealing and much fun for the right type of person.

The house is located on the water with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The back yard has a long sea wall that has both a floating dock and boat davits. The water view down the canal shows almost every house has at least one boat. Use of a free boat comes with the house rental.

Lots of fish winter in the canals behind the homes in Gulf Harbors. Daily, you can see large snook cruising the canals. Tarpon also inhabit the canals behind these homes. It seems that these man made canals provide a "natural habitat" that the fish find very inviting during the cooler months.
'Old Blue', a Great Blue Heron is a daily visitor to our backyard. He is ever vigilant for that free handout of fish. You should be very careful around the Great Blue Herons and the snowy White Egrets, they have sharp bills that they use for gathering fish. I have never heard of an incident where they were responsible for accidentally putting someone's eye out.. but I am always very careful with all wild life. After all, they are predators....

I have several pictures of my son and his friends, proudly displaying the fish they have caught from the sea wall. The fish include redfish, snook, jack, mangrove snapper, catfish, and stingray... A wire bait trap to catch bait fish comes with the house, along with fishing poles.... You can catch bait fish from the sea wall, put them on the fishing poles provided and catch fresh fish that you can prepare .. For bigger pictures, click on the picture!!!

There are several very well known Golf courses within 30 minutes of the house. Gulf Harbors has a private Golf Course for use your use. Innisbrook is to the south about 15 minutes.. I am not a golfer myself, but one internet page lists the following courses as being some of the best in the world. All these are within 30 minutes or so of the house. This house is a 4 bedroom 2 bath, home on the water. It is very nice and clean... Bedrooms 1 and 2 have a new King size bed and a new Queen size bed. Bedroom 3 is the "Kids room" with a bunkbed with a single bed up, and a double bed down. The Kids room has its own attached bathroom.. The 4th bedroom is a Florida room with a day/trundel beds. One gentleman from NORWAY who rented in JUNE was concerned about air conditioning... and inquired if this house is air conditioned... ... YES YES YES !!! ... The Air conditioner works very well and keeps the inside very cool... (The central heat also works.... BUT NOT IN JUNE ! HAH HAH !!!!)

The house comes with all linens for beds, baths, and kitchen. All appliances, washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove for cooking food, microwave for warming leftovers.. All you will need to supply is FOOD and DRINK. A family from France stayed in the beautiful home, and he commented how well equiped the home was compared to the villa/homes he has rented in the French countryside. We have tried to think of every convenience including a fully outfitted kitchen. Even a weeks worth of kitchen/bath consumables comes with the house. If you rent for a month or more, you may, of course, want to shop for the brands of soap and such that you are used to.

The Florida attractions in Orlando are about 90 minutes by car from our house. The Interstates offer easy access to the Orlando attractions. It is easy to drive to the Orlando area, enjoy a day's worth of attractions and return to the house that evening.

There are several 'very classy' restaurants within 15 minutes of the house. These run from $15 to $50 per person. There are also several 'buffet' type restaurants that have excellent food for reasonable prices... $7.00 to $10.00 per person. There are several inexpensive seafood restaurants where excellent food costs from $5 to $10 per person per meal. Lots of fast foods, burgers, pizzas, subs, cubans, etc... Within 30 minutes there are 3 or 4 major Malls with many different stores and shops.... There are also several 'tourist areas' that have shops that cater to tourists, if that is to your taste.

We have a 15 foot long fishing boat that is provided free of charge with the house. There are life jackets, fishing poles, fishing bait catching trap, anchor, and other boating things that come free of charge.... We also have a 15 HorsePower outboard motor that is available.
With the motor, you are able to fish the grass flats, usually catching speckeled trout, redfish, snook, mangrove snapper, etc. There is also an island about 4 miles offshore, named Anclote Key, which is a Florida State Park and Wildlife sanctuary. It has very veautiful beaches and is only accessable by boat or airplane. There is even an abandoned lighthouse on the island, which some people have been known to climb.. Beware the lighthouse is NOT maintained and has NO protective railing at the top. If you JUMP, FALL, or are PUSHED you would certaintly not survive the fall !! .. So, beware, and climb at your own risk!!...... and be sure to take a camera !!...
The use of the motor costs and additional $150.00 added to the weekly rental costs shown in the table below. If you would like to use the motor please let me know and I will include the extra $150.00 in the rental price.

The weekly and monthly rental rates are shown below. There is an 9% Florida tax also... so add the 9% to however long you wish to stay... For weekly and monthly rentals a rental deposit of 50% of rental is required to hold house for you and the balance is due 2 month prior to your arrival. The rental deposit is non-refundable. A security deposit of $200.00 is also required to cover any abnormal breakage or other damage over and above normal wear and tear on the property. This will be refunded within a month of your last day of occupancy.
